We are a small but diverse community of people living on
the Isle of Tiree off the west coast of Scotland. We see spiritual life to be at the centre of our human life. What we have in common is a faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God who brings us into a personal relationship with God the Father.
Our guiding principle comes from the words of Jesus which encourage us to make it our aim to “love God and to live for others”. So together we seek to work out personally and practically what it means to follow Jesus in today’s world and to share the new life we have found in God with others.
There has been a Baptist Church on Tiree for 170 years. Together, we’re constantly striving to become the kind of church described in the Bible—a church with relevant teaching, heart-felt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer, and compassionate care for those in need. In short, we’d like to have the kind of contagious Christianity that
can influence and encourage the entire community, one
life at a time.
For our main services we meet in An Talla, the Community
Hall at Crossapol. The hall is well equipped and has easy
access for all ages.
